Back in 2008, When I was in UK, I have seen the madness & craziness to buy items on a Black Friday. People were standing in the queue early in the morning before the shop opens & purchase as many as possible. I didnt know the significance of these days & I was in assumption that these days are releated to christmas event. Fast forward to 2022, I see the Black Friday trend in India too. Media, websites, apps promoting the sale & newspaper is flooded with offers. Today morning while reading newspaper, I had to search for the news in between such Ads & promotion. Our Indian mentality is tend to believe in anything that is shown to us multiple times without questioning. I am not making a generic statement here but majority of the popoulation comes under that. Just because it is sale, without even knowing the significance or history behind the celebrations, we are yielded to make purchases. Are we promoting Akshaya Thrithiya gold purchase in Western countries...

I opted for SIT though i had no idea about that college.... i selected because of the branch Instrumentation and Electronics engg again i h...
Last weekend i thought of going to a movie in forum. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and didnt get a single ticket for either 4'o clock show or 7'o clock. In the ticket kiosk i see only 'Sold Out' for most of the movies. Cant help as malls are the only entertainment in a city like Bengaluroo. What next ??? i decided to peep inside Landmark!!! which was crowded as though some discount sale is on. I just walked around the 2nd floor and didnt find anything interesting then went to book sections in 1st floor. Was just looking here and there and found this book just behind the counter/help desk. The book is called "Project Management-A Comedy of Errors" by Prasanna Kumar. Just went through the prologue and Publisher's note. the book seemed to be interesting. I just turned few pages and read few lines. It was interesting. So just decided to go for it. This book is not a serious guide for project management. Author talks about the most curious thing "What happe...
