An excellent article which is true with respect to any kind of Natural Resource. I, myself hate wasting natural resource like water, electricity, trees, fuel etc. And I hate to see people wasting these resources. In India, anything which is available for free doesn't have value. People just try to misuse the resource by using more than required and don't have the awareness of conserving the energy for next generation. Kindly think before taking a printout Don't leave your tap open while brushing your teeth Switch off lights and fan when you are not in the room Don't leave your computer on 24/7 especially in office. It produces top brands like Benz, BMW, Siemens etc. The nuclear reactor pump is made in a small town in this country. In such a country, many will think its people lead a luxurious life. At least that was my impression before my study trip.When I arrived at

1. Who is Anna Hazare? An ex-army man. Fought 1965 Indo-Pak War 2. What's so special about him? He built a village Ralegaon Siddhi in Ahamad Nagar district, Maharashtra 3. So what? This village is a self-sustained model village. Energy is produced in the village itself from solar power, biofuel and wind mills. In 1975, it used to be a poverty clad village. Now it is one of the richest village in India. It has become a model for self-sustained, eco-friendly & harmonic village. 4. Ok...? This guy, Anna Hazare was awarded Padma Bhushan and is a known figure for his social activities. 5. Really, what is he fighting for? He is supporting a cause, the amendment of a law to curb corruption in India. 6. How that can be possible? He is advocating for a Bil, The Lok Pal Bill (The Citizen Ombudsman Bill), that will form an autonomous authority who will make politicians (ministers), beurocrats (IAS/IPS) accountable for their deeds.

What a tragedy has occured in japan. Very Sad and heart breaking. I really feel for those who lost their family, home, loved ones... march 11th 2011 -> Devastating Day for JAPAN. Earthquake of magnitude 8.9 shook the eastern coast which led to deadly tsunami waves that swept away literally everything.. Its been nearly 6 days now, things are getting more and more worse in Japan. nuclear reactor blast has worsen the situation. I just pray that god gives all the strength and support for the people of Japan to withstand this calamity. Remembering WWII, I just wish that they can come back to their normal life style soon.
