A Master Piece from Ace Khan !!!!

Image
Aamir once again proved that he is unique and perfect in what ever he does..... My hearty congratulation to you Aamir. Undoubtedly, Tare Zameen Par is the movie of the year. I am damn sure that it will go to Oscar this time. The movie was very touching. Like all others, even i cried while watching this movie and this is the 2nd movie which really touched my heart. The other one is Masoom (1983). Its one more master piece. Shabhana Azmi and kid Jugal Hansraj has really done a good job in that movie. I am very happy to write about my childhood hero Aamir Khan. Fantastic job Aamir. you deserved to be called as Mr.Perfectionist and you have been proving it over years. Hats off to you my sweet heart.... I wud like to share below forward from one of my friend. Its very funny but make sense. Who ever has written it, really has a good humour. If Aamir Khan Did Not Make Taare Zameen Par: A Movie Un-Review If you want to know how good Taare is, just go to your nearest theater and watch the peopl

Last weekend i thought of going to a movie in forum. It was 2:30 in the afternoon and didnt get a single ticket for either 4'o clock show or 7'o clock. In the ticket kiosk i see only 'Sold Out' for most of the movies. Cant help as malls are the only entertainment in a city like Bengaluroo. What next ??? i decided to peep inside Landmark!!! which was crowded as though some discount sale is on. I just walked around the 2nd floor and didnt find anything interesting then went to book sections in 1st floor. Was just looking here and there and found this book just behind the counter/help desk. The book is called "Project Management-A Comedy of Errors" by Prasanna Kumar. Just went through the prologue and Publisher's note. the book seemed to be interesting. I just turned few pages and read few lines. It was interesting. So just decided to go for it. This book is not a serious guide for project management. Author talks about the most curious thing "What happe

An Angel who helped me :)

I have to write about this incident... which really touched my heart and made me say so sweet of that guy!!! This happened on tuesday Oct 9th. After a long time, i took out my Maruti 800 for a drive. even after 10 months my driving is still not perfect !!!! But i can somehow manage on a plain road and to some extent in a traffic road too!!! I was actually good at some point of time but one day when i was taking mom n dad in the car by mistake i put reveres gear instead of 4th. I still don't know what made me to do that and from that day onwards i am bit scared or get tensed while changing the gear!!! ok lets come back to this incident now!! I had to meet this lady Rohini who works for Parikarama which is near Ashoka Pillar. She told me the landmark as Mayya Hospital and Adigas. Only thing she missed telling me is that the building/school is just before Ashoka pillar. without knowing that i just crossed Ashoka pillar n called her again. she told me come straight and you will see May

Whats happening in LIFE ????

hmmm its been really long time i didn't post anything.... nothing great is happening in life. Its the same monotonous office and home.. :) Work is bit hectic. Had my appraisal few days back. I am happy this time. I think i can say i deserve this ratings and appreciation. My responsibility has increased now. Need to plan my work and concentrate more. I always have this negative quality in me... if i take up any new thing i don't work towards completing it. I leave it half way....I hate this quality of mine but still i am not able to work towards it. Every year i make some new resolution but i never bother to complete it. Have lot of thoughts in my mind like i shud take up correspondence course like MBA/MS, do some certification like CCNA , learn painting, learn salsa, involve myself in social activities like ivolunteer , maintain my blog etc etc... uffff my list is really long and i am not able to concentrate on any of this. These thoughts are running in my mind since lo

FINDING AND KEEPING A LIFE PARTNER

Hi, Found this good article….. It is worth spending some time and reading this…….. When it comes to making the decision about choosing a life partner, noone wants to make a mistake. Yet, with a divorce rate of close to 50%, it appears that many are making serious mistakes in their approach tofinding Mr./Miss. Right! If you ask most couples who are engaged why they're getting married, they'll say: "We're in love"; I believe this is the ..1 mistake people make when they date. Choosing a life partner should never be based onlove. Though this may sound "not politically correct", there's aprofound truth here.Love is not the basis for getting married. Rather, love is the result of a good marriage . When the other ingredients are right, then thelove will come. Let me say it again: "You can't build a lifetimerelationship on love alone"; You need a lot more!!!Here are five questions you must ask yourself if you're serious aboutfinding and keep
Sometimes we must be hurt in order to grow. we must fail in order to know. we must lose in order to gain. Simply because, Some lessons are best learned through pains .

Chak De India.....

I watched this movie last week. Very inspiring and very motivating movie. It all depends on viewers how they want to take this movie!!!! More than emphasising on Hockey, i liked the way the director (Shamit Amin) tried to Unite the gals. Me being a girl i know how difficult it is to make all 16 girls to work towards one single GOAL. Attitude is one quality which plays a very big role when we are working in a team though the team might be sports team or corporate team. Everyone work towards their individual goals and forget team goal. Being an individual contributor is easy but when you have to work in a team you have to think about team growth by sacrificing your dreams to some extent. after watching this movie, i am planning to adopt few of the very good points shown by director in my team and also in life :) 1) Being individual contributor doest always helps for the team. Be a team player. ( Preethi and komal) 2) Being senior doesn't mean that one should get all consideration. A

Women gives birth to 17th child..........................

On Thursday, Jim Bob, 42, and Michelle Duggar, 40, gave birth to their 17th child 'Jennifer Danielle' at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Rogers. Baby weighed 8 pound, 8 ounces, was five days late, and is the Duggars seventh daughter. Even a half hour after the birth of baby Jennifer, the Duggars are talking about having more, especially girls. The Duggars live in Tontitown, Arkinsas in a 7,000 square foot home that they built themselves. All of the children’s names begin with the letter “J”. The eldest child being 19yrs old and the last but one is almost 2yrs.The family have been featured on several programs on the Discovery Health Network. Despite her tremendous number of births, Michelle Duggar does not hold the record for most number of children. That record belongs to the first wife of Feodor Vassilyey who gave birth to 69 children between 1725-1765 . Amazing isnt it ??? Really people dont have better work!!! The woman was a peaant from Shuya outside of Moscow. She was pregnant 27

Traffic on Kasturaba Road

Image
This picture was taken at around 7 pm on Thursday (aug 2). The traffic was very bad on Kasturaba Road, Bangalore. The picture has been taken near prestige obelisk building. If you see, the other side of the road is completely jammed and traffic is from cubbon park police station circle to UB city junction which is really really bad!!!! The reason behind the jam is none of the traffic signal lights near this area was functioning.... it was only HAND SIGNAL and you have the proof to see the outcome of it.

Barcamp..barcamp..barcamp.. since last 1 week everyone must have heard or seen this 7 letters word in the newspaper. What is it ?? yeah even i had the question when i heard about it. Hari, my friend, colleague told me about this 6 months back during barcamp banglore 2 (bcb2). He had registered his name for social entrepreneurship. I really didn't give much importance to it. Since last 1 month, every weekend he used to tell me i am going to barcamp meet... we are meeting there..we are meeting here... we have planned this n that... i was like what is this guy all about and what are they trying to do ?? I was really curious to know what the heck is this Barcamp and he gave me the wiki link to barcamp to cure my curiosity. After glancing it here n there i felt let me be a part of it and see what is it all about... so i volunteered myself to this. 27/07/2007: Friday the day before the bcb4, i went to IIMB at 4.30. It was my 2nd visit to IIMB..i had been there during last year of engg t

Beauty of Mysore....

Mysore ... when ever i hear the word 'Mysore' i become nostalgic . I miss Mysore and my fond memories associated along with it. When ever my dad talks about buying an apartment in Bangalore, i never pay attention to it. Because i know i cant stay here for a long time...this place is not for me. Right now i am living here only to earn my bread and butter. Anyways let me tell you something about Mysore. It is a very calm place...people do their work at their own pace. No hurry... Life goes in a slow motion in Mysore.. I have never seen any traffic jam in Mysore (which is one of the major headache in Bangalore). When ever i visit Mysore, i feel i am back home :) I did my Pre university in Mysore. Five(Anitha, Deepa, Ranjini, Pratibha and myself) of us from the high school joined the same college. everyday we used to go to the college either by Bus or by train. We enjoyed those two years. Writing lab records in the moving train, during exams, last min review while going in the th

My First Blog.....

All theses days i was wondering what is this blogging all about ?? why people are so much into it. What gives them ? so i started reading blogs written by others and tried to understand the whole concept of it :) Finally, what i understood is, it is just a personal space who wants to share their thoughts and ideas and publish them. My next question was, what are they achieving from this ?? Answer varies...few wants to just share their thoughts and feel happy if people read it where as few others publish their innovative idea and will be very happy if others are interested in it and together they can achieve something. Well...i fall into the first category. I just want to share my thoughts!!! And i am HERE
