Psychology of Argument b/w Men and Women

In everyday life, everybody argues. To put it in more elegant way, people exchange words. We all see things from our own perspective and this sometime leads to disagreement to what other people say. Arguing is part of thinking. It is a part of human nature to hear a statement and contradict. But not all arguments are loud. Am sure everyone argues inside their head and anything can trigger an internal debate because that is how we think about the world. Relationships with people of the opposite sex are also an important part of our lives. We want to be able to love our partners, enjoy happy family lives, get along with colleagues at work, have friends without the constant fear that what we say will be 'taken the wrong way' , be 'misinterpreted' and lead to arguments or even rows. Friendship can pose special problems for speaking one's mind. Many people believe that disagreements can damage a relationship by revealing differences that wound. Others claim that frankne

If it is yours then it will sure come back to you....

I have been in UK for over one and a half years now and during this time i visited london only thrice. Every time I visited the city had a different experience and the first two visit being most memorable. The third visit to london ruined all the fun before even we started our tour. I lost my new hand bag while travelling in tube. It was so unfortunate that it happened just after landing to london and spoiled my trip. It was friday evening arnd 7.00 and the Lost Property Office was closed and we were not able to reach them over the phone also as it was their out of office time. I was getting frustrated and irritated on myself and also on the system as i am unable to reach anyone to help me in this regard. In that helpless situation, Sharath went and asked a police man who was standing outside Downing Street. His reply was we cant do anything in this regard. Yes !! we knew the answer but still tried :( After that I called, Customer helpline and informed about my loss. They asked me to c

Cadbury World

Who has not heard or rather eaten 'Cadbury Dairy Milk' chocolate ?? I am sure most of us would have craved for it in our childhood days. When ever my uncle was visiting us, he used to bring two big cadbury dairy milk chocolate for my brother and myself. We both wanted to it as slowly as possible and don't wanted to share it with anyone. During my engineering days, If i miss breakfast/lunch before exams, I used to eat 2 small cadbury chocolates and drink one full glass of water. This was keeping my stomach full for the next 3hrs. I even remember keeping the silver/gold foil wrapped to the chocolates inside my text or note book. With my first salary, I remember buying a big fruit and nut cadbury chocolate to home. My mom at first scolded me why do u spend money for such things and then she said where will we go out and buy such things !!! Am sure everyone has many such sweet memories attached with Cadbury Dairy Milk..... The reason behind me writing all these here is, I was f

Never Say GoodBye

Yesterday around 10am, my brother gave me the breaking news that 'Michael Jackson' is gone. I was shocked hearing those 3 words. Though am not a hardcore fan of him, I did have a little bit of interest towards his music, dance, lifestyle and controversies !!! Just two days back, my brother and myself had a talk over his last show in 'London'. Today, he is already gone. Nobody had a clue and for that matter he himself didn't. His last show never happened. Lets try to remember the good things about him in his demise. He was a genius: Composer, Singer, Dancer, Performer, global celebrity. All extraordinary talents combined into one. He is a legend and has inspired choreographers, dancers, singers, artists, kids you name it. People started taking singing, dancing seriously as a career after watching him. Websites like Twitter, LA times crashed when people jammed the websites on his death. He is the greatest celebrity in this century and the King of pop. No one even come

Something to THINK !!!!

Something for every Indian to think....... One day a goat with her small child went into forest for food. Unfortunately they forget their way back home and were stuck in the forest at night. A Big lion came and saw the goat and her child . The goat took her child nearer to her and thought that lion will definitely eat both of them. Lion came nearer to them and put his hands on the child and pampered her and told that "No fear My Dear. I don't have any sisters so now onwards you are my sister and I am your brother". And he gave chocolates, biscuits to the child and ask goat to come to his room with her husband for lunch and also asked her to celebrate raksha bandhan with him and gave her his visiting card And said that "tell me if any one attacks you or threatens you”. And he left the place. Finally the goat got surprised and told her child.... .. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "I think Elections are coming"...

The Unforgettable Crocodile Hunter

Yesterday night I was watching Nat Geo and they were telecasting old videos of Crocodile Hunter.... Steve Irwin. Most people do remember him as Crocodile Hunter only. Mostly because of his heroic action in front of dangerous reptiles and his enthusiasm made him popular in a very short duration. The reason behind me writing about him is yesterday's show only. He died almost two and a half years ago and I don't know about others, but at least for me when ever i watch his show in the TV, I feel very sad that he is no longer with us. In yday's show, he was as usual daring and full of energy and the way he was handling those reptiles were as if like they are all his babies... In the middle of the Australian jungle, he found a snake and as per his words, it is one of the most poisonous snake and it can lift its head to certain height and move as quick as possible to hit its prey. When I saw the way he took that snake in his hand really made my hair stand. After seeing this only o

Best and Worst News...

Election Vs Cricket

By reading the title, you might have guessed what i am writing here. Yes, its all about the internal fight happening between Politics and Cricket. Both of them have become important part of every Indian. Everything was running smooth until the Lahore attack. Due to security reasons, Govt. asked IPL to postpone the second season... but how can they say yes ?? Its a matter of hundreds of crores money which they have already invested... :) So all kind of alternatives came into picture. They cant force govt. and neither govt. can take any chances by saying yes.... Its a matter of providing security not just to team India but also the foreign team players. Finally, after working day and night IPL board came with their alternative plan of playing cricket by changing venues. Haan.... that was really a neat job !!! Government also agreed to this... I wonder how government is taking such a heavy risk during election time ?? A sport like cricket cannot be postponed even if we have loksabha

Right Decision @ Wrong Time !!!!

Making right decision at the right time..... many of us might have heard this phrase plenty of time in our lives. But how many of us has made that right decision in our lives which we are proud of anytime ??? And how many of us thought that we made right decision but later realised 'at a wrong time' ??? If i just look back then until my 12th grade, my parents were making all the major decision for me.... no burden on my shoulder... :) wow life was so beautiful at that time!!!! The first right decision i made was opting for BE instead of Bsc or BCA. For some reason i made up my mind to go for engineering even if i have to stay in hostel... My second right decision was in selecting engineering college. During my first CET council the options i had was JCE, Hassan engg college(forgot the actual name of the college), PCET Mandya and SIT Tumkur. I opted for SIT though i had no idea about that college.... i selected because of the branch Instrumentation and Electronics engg again i h

Slumdog Millionaire....... my thoughts about this movie

Image
I watched this last week after hearing a lot about this movie in news and entertainment channels. I just knew the gist of the movie that it is all about a slum boy contesting for and winning millions. After watching this movie i had mixed thoughts. I didn't feel good by seeing it. Reasons may be i was not happy seeing " India " in that way,  may be i was not happy a westerner showing India as dirty underbelly developing country to the whole world....The so called developed countries like UK and US also has people who live in slums.Every country has its own negatives and positives be it  developed country, developing country or under developing country. My feeling is just similar to the feeling a person will have when his/her neighbour shows the dirt at his home.  I agree what ever is shown in the movie is real and another face of India which every one has to and will accept. The movie has shown everything a kid will face living in slum which is true and fact. Good to see
