A Wednesday !!!

On a Monday afternoon i feel like writing about Wednesday. 'A Wednesday' is not 3rd day of the week its the movie name. yes, am talking about writer-director Neeraj Pandey's
"A Wednesday".

This is one class movie and has a very valid and real message. The film has the power to change how we look at the world. One should watch this movie.

We have been watching so many movies all these years and its very easy to predict what will be the next move and in some movies we can even predict the dialogues.. its like putting different masala to the same old stale food!!! But trust me 'A Wednesday' can prove all your predictions wrong. The director has really done a great job and same with the actors. Senior actors anupam kher and Naseeruddin Shah excel in their acting and same with junior actors like Jimmy Shergill and Aamir Bashir.
There is no hype, no masala, fights, songs etc etc Just the movie and its message. The climax is ultimate and the conversation between Anupum and Shah does make common man to think. Shah talks about common man's fear, terrorism, system and its failures, religion etc etc and all his dialogue makes sense and close to reality.
It's a film you'll find hard to get out of your head days after you've left the cinema.

Incidently, I saw the movie yesterday. It is really a nice movie portraying the pain and agony of the common man. Worth watching. BTW. One of my friends in bollywood makes his appearance in the movie. ;-)

Unity In Diversity

I chose this name to my post because most of us do remember reading this in our text books during school days. This is what our teachers used to preach everyday in school and we did believe that and felt good about our nation. As we grew up and started to understand what is happening around us, its natural to ask ourselves do we really have unity in diversity. Namma maneya putta kaithota...

Yes.... I have started one of my favorite hobby Gardening from this month... I always had the dream of having a garden of my own and growing plants and spending my leisure time in there. After so many discussions along with my family members, I got few yards in our parking area to start my Gardening. I had asked the contractor to leave that without filling any mud. I might be having  around 10 x 3 area left for gardening.. and the depth around 2 feet. I asked few of the nearby nursery to start with as the amount of mud to be filled was more, I dont wanted to take any chances. The red soil costed around Rs.50 per each cement bag and the organic fertilizer Rs.120. We needed around 80 cement bags  to fill that area. It was almost equivalent to one tractor load....:-) The initial investment is bit high.
